Job Type:
Full Time, Permanent
Schedule:10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week
Location:
Shop: Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements:
- Full Complement of Hand Tools
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6" ankle support
Pre-employment:
- Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and sitespecific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment
Heavy Equipment Technician
Qualifications:
- Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal
- Off Road or equivalent
- Must have between (5) and (10) years' Journeyperson experience
- Off Road experience is REQUIRED
- Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED
- Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial
- Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED
Heavy Equipment Technician Responsibilities**:
- Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
- Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
