Here's what you'll be doing....

Responsible for cash handling, sales reporting, balancing, and month end financial reporting. Provide cashier and Post Office supervision & support.
In this role, you'll work 25-40 hours weekly, that include a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Balance cash, debit and credit transactions; including daily deposits and safe counts
  • Investigate, rectify, and report overages, shortages, and cashier procedural errors to manager
  • Prepare cash floats and change as needed for instore and external events
  • Prepare Brinks pickups as needed
  • Provide pointofsale (POS) training to new cashiers, and support their onboarding
  • Support cashiers in daily tasks and procedures as needed
  • Ensure the cash team is properly assigned, trained and engaged to provide the best customer service
  • Ensure cash team is knowledgeable and comply with all store policies and operating procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned
Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional customer service and lead with customer focus
  • Support daytoday operation of Post Office, following all operational guidelines
  • Assist eCommerce and customer service team as needed
  • Actively participate in merchandising activities including, such as, folding and floor changes
  • Ensure standards of housekeeping and store image are maintained
  • Support hiring of new staff as needed
  • Provide suggestions on improving operational processes

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary graduate or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • 1year retail experience
  • Previous key holder experience

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic with a positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills
  • Selfstarter who is open to feedback and uses good judgment in all situations
  • Able to support multiple functions and prioritize in a busy environment
  • Comfortable working in an environment with fluctuating seasonal traffic
  • Conscientious, efficient, dependable
  • Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning is highly valued a growth mindset
