Today we deliver a wide variety of ShelterSolutions to customers in virtually every industry, in a variety of climates, anywhere in the world.

The
Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Development efforts in North America. The SDR will focus on lead nurturing and expanding the sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential customers.

The SDR will work closely with the Business Development team to execute on tasks and projects in Eastern Canada and the USA.

The role requires a proactive and organized individual who can effectively communicate Norseman Structures' value proposition to potential customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Educate leads about Norseman Structures' products and services, and ensure they receive the information they need to move through the sales funnel
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring that all leads and opportunities are tracked accurately
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to understand the target markets, key customer segments, and sales goals
  • Collaborate on strategies to expand into existing mining clientele, support dealer channel expansion, and build construction partnerships
  • Handle the execution of projects as needed, working closely with the Business Development team to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in Eastern Canada and the USA
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business
  • 2 to 4 years proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software, experience with Salesforce is an asset
  • Knowledge of the construction or manufacturing industry is considered an asset
