ROLE SUMMARY

TYPICAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in conjunction with Interdisciplinary team(s) and Director of Programs to develop, implement and evaluate strategic plans, goals, objectives, policies and implements work methods and procedures for PSR programs;
  • Assists with tracking and submitting all functions related to payroll;
  • Implements and evaluates projects with interdisciplinary team(s);
  • Performs budget duties such as monitoring expenditures for designated areas, by comparing actual and budgeted expenditures, exercising signing authority, identifies variances, follows up on anomalies and takes steps to resolve problems;
  • Ensures all practices are in keeping with ICMH policy, philosophy, values and collective agreements
  • Supervises staff by performing duties such as assigning work, providing feedback and evaluation, determining training requirements, orienting new staff and maintaining timekeeping and attendance records. Resolves staffing problems, including calling in staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels;
  • Supports and problemsolves around onetoone client interactions, casefile reviews and PSR program service delivery;
  • Performs admin duties for PSR programs in such as maintaining record keeping/filing system, screening and prioritizing incoming materials, updating CMS database with new and terminated staff profiles, managing schedules, arranging meetings taking minutes, and composing correspondences;
  • Performs Coordinator duties at ICMHA's based on emergent operational needs;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Typical Education, Training, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social work or Social Services, or a related field
  • Recent, related experience of two years
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Or other Qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work


OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Clear criminal record check through the Solicitor General
  • Negative TB test
  • COVID19 Proof of Vaccination
  • Uptodate on Provincial immunization schedule
  • Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and ASIST certifications would be considered an asset

$33.00-$34.54 per hour
