Position Summary:
Acuren is currently recruiting for Pipeline Inspection Field Techncians in various locations across BC, AB & SK.

Responsibilities:

Learn to execute various data acquisition and assessment procedures specific to pipeline integrity programs
Receive training to install, test, adjust and/or repair rectifiers, anodes, and CP test points / stations
Gather structuretosoil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data
Perform continuity tests and soil resistivity measurements
Locate pipelines and document positional pipeline information utilizing electromagnetic and GPS equipment
Perform overtheline depth of cover, close interval CP and coating surveys
Document physical features of installation site for subsequent detailed asbuilt drawings
Operate and maintain company vehicle and other equipment

Requirements:

Be available to travel for multiple days to remote locations ( >80%)
Able to work in various temperature and climate conditions willing and able to spend long days on foot over rugged, remote terrain in inclement weather
The ability and desire to learn new tasks
The ability to autonomously manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting client / team expectations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Mature and professional attitude towards work
High attention to detail
Effective problemsolving skills
Strong team attitude with commitment to customer service
Ability to manage time to maintain scheduling in order to meet appropriate deadlines
