Description

We are currently seeking a Manager of Financial Services who is an experienced public accounting manager to join our team of our Financial Services Division in our Winnipeg office.

Responsibilities:

Planning and assigning of workload over the fiscal year, including a oneyear documented plan;
Review of yearend files (corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship) prepared by team in the Financial Services department;
Consultation with members of the team to resolve issues raised, where necessary;
Training of team members;
Supervising and motivating members of the Financial Services team, including performance evaluations;
Effectiveness and efficiency of individual team members and department, including reporting to shareholders on individual targets and performance;
Taking ownership of the client; becoming the first contact with the client;
Client service activities and special projects as they relate to the Financial Services department; including exploring additional opportunities with existing clients to further growth.

Qualifications:

You have strong analytical, mathematical and problemsolving skills.
You have strong leadership abilities; experience managing a team is preferred.
You will be responsible for prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and staff within tight deadlines; and
You are highly proficient with MS Office; CaseWare/Caseview, TaxPrep or similar tax preparation packages.
