Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Handling and analyzing incoming communications
  • Managing all mail merge, as well as reporting requests, including ADHOC requests (daily, weekly, monthly) to record, organize and analyze data
  • Completing and examining requests regarding changes in payment amounts and term for borrowers with student loans, using both internal tools and access to the loan servicing system to complete the requirement from the borrower.

Additionally:


  • Complete work adhering to service levels.
  • Ability to handle escalations and resolve in a timely manner.
  • Works within defined processes, procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach to complete a task.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Communicate and establish positive working relationships
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintains confidentiality to sensitive information

Required Experience/Skills:


  • Exceptional communication skill set, both written and verbal. (Bilingual French/English an asset)
  • High attention to detail is required to ensure schedules are updated accurately and/or to identify discrepancies to the current loan schedule(s)
  • Excellent keyboarding skills, with the ability to successful maintain high quality standards.
  • Advance Windows and MS Office skills with the ability to navigate through multiple windows while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate analytical and judgment skills when dealing with moderate to complex procedures and situations.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to an everchanging environment.
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills would be preferred.
  • Thrives in a structured, supportive environment which is service level driven, success is measured by standard key performance metrics.
  • Must have a demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history.

Hours of Work
Must be flexible between 8:00am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday & overtime available on Saturdays 7:30 am to 3:30 pm


Location

  • This job will be on site at our 5995 Avebury Rd, Mississauga, ON office

Additional Requirements:

  • Please note, this job has access to Protected B data and as a result the successful applicant will require their Personal Enhanced Reliability Check (PERC) clearance, prior to commencing work, thus Will be required to submit fingerprints to the RCMP for the Government Reliability Clearance.
