Social Worker

Location:

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

Help individuals and families cope with and overcome challenges and transitions they are facing (ie. in birth trauma, relationship stress, parenting challenges etc.).
Observe client behaviour and assess their needs in order to create treatment strategies.
Teach different skills and development mechanisms to support clients.
Monitor client progress and adjust their treatment plans accordingly.
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers at The WOMB.

Qualifications:

Registered and within good standing with the Ontario College of Social

Workers and Social Service Workers

Masters of Social Work preferred
A positive, professional and flexible attitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and computer skills
Proven assessment and intervention skills
Discrete with confidential information
Good time management skills
