Position Overview

The RGA Co-Op/Internship Program is committed to providing students with meaningful work and a chance to gain a wide knowledge of the insurance industry and to network with fellow interns and full-time associates.

Responsibilities

Research and modelling support for analyzing drivers of mortality, morbidity and future trends
Research and modeling support emerging areas of biometric risk
Research and benchmarking of studies, pricing bases, models, regulations, and data sources to support actuarial pricing projects

Requirements:

Required Skills:

Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
Proven communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
Experience using Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

Programming experience in VBA
Passed at least one SOA exam
