About the Role
We have an opening for a full-time experienced DZ Driver-Operator in our Concrete Department.


This individual must be someone who not only loves to drive, but enjoys interacting with customers and working in a team environment.


We are looking for someone who is available for a rotating 5-6-day schedule, Monday to Saturday working out of our Leaside location (located at 31 Industrial Street).


Requirements:


  • Must know how to drive manual transmission trucks (10speed)
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum 3 years DZ driver experience (DZ is minimum license required)
  • Able to work rotating 56 day work schedule (Monday-Saturday)
  • Must be physically fit to be able to climb and load trucks
  • Thrives in a team environment with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
  • Must have basic street knowledge of the GTA

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and effective customer service
  • Accept payments for delivery of concrete and comfortable creating invoices and collecting from customers
  • Perform pretrip inspection of vehicle
  • Clean and mechanically maintain truck
  • Assist in loading and unloading of vehicle
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road

Salary:
$31.00-$34.00 per hour
