Qualifications:


  • Education:
  • 3 year community college diploma in business management/administration required; Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Experience:
  • 3 years of progressive administrative and customer service experience in an academic environment; experience supporting undergraduate and graduate students and programs preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation.
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including managing competing priorities and an ability to adapt quickly to emerging priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to stay abreast of technological developments and adapt to new policies and procedures to work in a fastpaced environment with frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines and adapt to growth and change.
  • Proven strong problemsolving skills and sound judgement with a consultative and collaborative approach to addressing issues and opportunities, especially regarding confidential/sensitive matters.
  • Strong record of teamwork with the motivation and demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative with little supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate events of various sizes ranging from weekly seminars to department conferences.
