PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your role is to ensure the administration of payroll and benefits, including related accounting.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the optimal management and coordination of employee file management and information integrity in the HR system.

You will work closely with the HR leader and HR team, developing and recommending the best long-term solutions and on our processes and programs to optimize the employee experience, and ensure their implementation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Administration of North American payroll (entry, payment,insurance).
Entry of payroll data and followup with various contact personnel.
Administration and management of employee benefits and pension plans.
Administrative case management of CSST and disability files.
Create and generate reports for the HR dashboard and reports needed to support internal and external usage.
Point of contact for employee questions and support to managers.
Responsible for HR processes and data integrity in Dayforce.
In collaboration with the HR team, determine the best use of the Ceridian and Dayforce payroll system with all necessary modules.
Actively participate in the development of the human resources function in collaboration with the team of business partners.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

DEC in human resources/administration or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
Good Microsoft Office suite skills.
Knowledge of Ceridian's Dayforce payroll system and Nethris an important asset.
Interest and ease with HR systems and processes and ability to implement them smoothly.
Sense of customer service.
Sense of organization and autonomy.
Canadian Payroll Association Accreditation.
Bilingualism (French and English).
