Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and process all incoming inquiries and quotes as required from the Aevitas Edmonton webpage
  • Responsible for drop offs, including; job sheets, collecting, processing payments, communicating with operations staff, prepare temporary invoice for clients, and respond to customer inquiries as required
  • Maintain client relations and communicate organizations expectations in a clear and professional manner
  • Providing new and existing clients with job quotes
  • Prepare completed job sheets for billing and transfer to Sales Manager
  • Ensure all new clients receive required paperwork to create a new account and provide assistance to complete them as needed
  • Provide waste profile sheets to customers
  • Review previous client list and make contact customers to inquire about potential future business, providing marketing materials as required
  • Manage established accounts as required
  • Investigate and solve business related complaints from previous and current customers with Sales Manager
  • Research new businesses that generate hazardous and nonhazardous waste, obtain contact information and arrange meetings between them and Sales Manager
  • Cold calls and marketing for new account establishment
  • Other related duties as required by the Sales Manager
  • Comply with legal requirements and internal company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional attitude towards customers and other employees.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma in chemistry or a related field
    an asset:
  • One to two years' experience in a sales position an asset (
    on the job training is provided)
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste industry and chemical classification an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle several tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle confidential issues and information with discretion
  • Good analytical skills and ability to exercise good judgment
  • Ability to interface with all associates and management at all levels

Salary:
$20.00-$21.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
