Allied is looking for a

Data Analyst (ESG) to join our Corporate Planning and Sustainability team in Toronto on a fixed-term contract.

In the role of Data Analyst, you collect, track and report on Allied's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities in support of our annual GRESB submission and sustainability reporting.

What will you do?:


  • Collaborate across departments to collect environmental performance data and social impact metrics and support the standardization of processes and templates for efficient data collection.
  • Support Allied's annual GRESB submission.
  • Support submissions and ESG reporting to align with international disclosure frameworks such as Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), Task Force on Climaterelated Financial Disclosures (TCFD), United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
  • Assist with the development and publication of Allied's annual ESG Report.
  • Support the Corporate Planning and Sustainability team with important administrative tasks, including presentations, meetings and invoicing.

What are we looking for?:


  • One to two years of relevant work experience in the sustainability sector.
  • A postsecondary degree in a related field (i.e. environmental science, sustainability).
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent communication, collaboration, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver clear and streamlined processes with a passion for excellence by always looking for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Proven analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn, navigate and execute on new digital platforms.
  • Excellent research capabilities with an attitude for continuous learning in a rapidly evolving industry.
  • A 'doer' with a strong passion to drive execution and rollout of initiatives.
  • Would be an asset_
  • Experience working on GRESB submissions.
  • Knowledge of reporting frameworks such as GRESB, Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and TCFD.
  • Experience with event planning or program creation.
  • Experience with report writing.
  • Exposure to real estate, urban issues and/or a publicly traded organization.
