Position Description:


The Workforce Strategy Specialist is within the ETS Management organization, reporting into the Workforce Strategy Lead in the Chief Operating Officer's (COO) team.

The role is responsible for analyzing the division's resourcing needs, assessing current processes, and contributing to the planning and proposal of solutions to deliver on our resource/talent strategy and our skills roadmap.


  • The position is in a fastpaced environment and requires a strong individual that can operate autonomously and is executionoriented.

Responsibilities:


  • Execute on multiyear talent strategy and objectives of the division, including lateral recruitment approach, skills development, and contingent/vendor resourcing plans
  • Partner with divisional managers and recruitment teams to optimize hiring processes, improve talent attraction and retention, develop synergies across silos
  • Conduct market intel on tech skills, analyze opportunities across various geographies, costs, availability/scarcity, etc.
  • Work with Talent Development to enhance and finetune our training platform, solutions and offering to match our upskilling needs
  • Explore potential for channels and platforms that deliver on our junior talent intake needs as well as promote diversity and inclusion in the org
  • Support ETS leadership to model multiyear labour demands in a holistic fashion while observing divisional budget and headcount targets
  • Act as reference for various internal business partners and stakeholders, to coordinate and track resource allocations, collaborate along process timelines, and socialize updates
  • Manage and oversee consultant vendor strategy execution — identify efficiencies, costreduction measures, specialized skill suppliers, compliance with KPIs, risk management
  • Analyze periodic metrics and trends for various programs, vendors and locations, to assess opportunities for scaling, optimizing, streamlining, rationalizing, etc.
  • Drive effective governance & controls with divisional management to ensure workforce actions are in line with strategy & guidance
  • Develop, analyze, and present findings in response to senior leadership requests
  • Report project/program cost and schedule status to multiple levels of stakeholders in a clear, concise and transparent fashion
  • Develop robust analytics, conduct market intel/industry research and increase transparency to drive the divisional strategy and management decisionmaking.
  • Produce and vet meeting content and materials for the COO

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Skills Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, workforce/vendor management, resource and/or budget planning
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong problemsolving, analytical skills and strategic planning ability
  • Well versed in the project lifecycle, project coordination or project management
  • Understanding of organizational management and design, general finance and accounting principles
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal and Written) — ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively
  • Superior relationship management skill to build and maintain solid engagement with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong data skills proven track record of managing & reporting on large data sets, leveraging Excel and various BI dashboards/tools to extract insights and inform stakeholders
  • Superior PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams, and general MS Office skills
  • Exceptional attention to details, highly organized and goaloriented
  • Ability to work across functional disciplines and with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to bring teams who are not directly reporting to the same manager together toward a common goal
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a highpressure environment while juggling multiple tasks
