In this position, you will be working out of our Equipment Division -
Oxford Builders Supplies Inc.


As a Outside Sales Representative at Oxford Rentals, you will be the face and initial point of contact to potential and existing clients.

We'll rely on you to use your exceptional sales and relationship building skills to understand the needs and concerns of our clients ensuring a great experience and turning them into loyal partners.

You must be self starting, ambitious and outgoing, with a love for building relationships and serving our customers with equipment and services.


You as a Outside Sales Representative will:

  • Conduct sales calls/visits to construction and industrial sites across GTA and Ontario
  • Locate, purchase and deliver various products direct to client sites daily
  • Ability to maintain POS and be extremely organized
  • Ability to respond to clients requests in timely manner
  • Track Purchase Orders and produce client invoices (both paper & digitally)
  • Become expert in business construction products in order to serve clients successfully
  • Build, maintain new and ongoing relationships with clients
  • Maintain communication with clients by personal visits, phone, video, etc.
  • Drive to engage with clients regularly and provide exceptional service
  • Establish and renew contracts terms with clients
  • Meet and exceed sales monthly goals
  • Ability to procure various items and follow through delivery to sites
  • Utilize technology to forecast sales and produce budgets
  • Prepare reports and feedback to management using financial data
  • Stay current with industry, market news, products and events
  • Present and represent Oxford at conferences, conventions, site meetings, BBQ's, and other marketing initiatives

Is this the right role for you?

  • Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent. Postsecondary diploma an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and customer service experience. Construction equipment sales/rental experience is an asset
  • You are willing to travel and have a valid G Class Driver's license, and are able to provide a driver's abstract
  • You have strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • You are proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software
  • You enjoy selling and interacting with people
  • You have experience in sales, using various techniques and methods to develop marketing strategies to target clients
  • You are a problem solver that will cater to clients needs in a timely manner
  • You are selfmotivated and able to work independently and within a group
  • You follow industry trends to identify and target new opportunities
  • You have good presentation skills and are comfortable presenting to various groups
