  • Pay rate: starts at $21.00 per hour

The Job

What your job duties may include

  • Key user of WMS and responsible for optimizing its usage
  • Develop procedures to maximize efficiencies pertaining to inventory: receiving, replenishment, returns, and adjustments to inventory.
  • Establish procedures with Inventory Control Supervisor
  • Ownership of projects that pertain to inventory control: e.g. destructs,labeling, transfers
  • Ensure accurate inventory data is maintained in the system at all times
  • Run InventoryReports; verify, investigate discrepancies and make adjustments accordingly
  • Investigate inventory concerns or errors reported from all departments, solving problems on the spot and providing effective resolutions
  • Log information in the system as required
  • Assists in organizing and adjusting inventory for transfers and/or destructs; including staging inventory/skids and gathering required information for CSRs
  • Assign Inventory Associates to cycle count locations, investigate problems and make adjustments as necessary
  • Organize and count quantity of Fraser supplies on hand to identify purchasing needs
  • Plan handson inventory maintenance and participate in inventory improvement initiatives
  • Be trained and flexible to work in various departments as needed
  • Follow company and client procedures and specifications at all times
  • Deliver quality control as specified in client and company policies and procedures
  • Follow instructions given by the Supervisor, who will determine priorities
  • Support and follow all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Follow and maintain good housekeeping practice
  • All other duties as assigned
  • 3+ years' experience in a warehouse environment (preferably with shipping experience and/or prior freight knowledge)
  • 1+ years supervisory/leadership experience
  • Counterbalance forklift experience preferred, or willing to be trained
  • Prior experience with online databases and carrier terminals an asset (accurate data entry)
  • Strong computer knowledge; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel essential
  • Effective organization, planning and time management skills; must be able to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
