Academy of Learning Career College - Bay/Queen is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This role involves responsibilities such as:
What you will you do:
- Greet visitors on telephone / in person with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Manage incoming mail, security cards and keys, mailing correspondence to students.
- Manage office supplies / ordering.
- Zoom admin / faculty administrator.
- Support onboarding of new administrative/ faculty members.
- IT set up preparation / ordering of laptops for new team members.
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all information is uptodate and easily accessible.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to create documents, spreadsheets and manage correspondence.
- Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Exercise careful attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Use organizational skills to maintain and manage files, records, and correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing necessary support and information.
- Supports events such as job fairs, graduation, or open houses.
- Read and follow all procedures and policies and be aware of any updates.
- Other duties as per the direction of the supervisor.
Qualifications and skills:
- At least one year of relevant administrative work experience.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize work assignments in a dynamic and fastpaced environment with frequently changing deadlines.
- Highly detailoriented and wellorganized, capable of maintaining accuracy even under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor in handling receptionist duties
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

$42, $45,000.00 per year
