What you will be required to do:
- Assist with inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing current and/or potential issues regarding loading docks, overhead doors, and docks (commercial/industrial).
- Assist with completion of paperwork (i.e. work orders, inspection sheets etc.).
- Assist to ensure pictures are taken in accordance with PSP department standards.
- Provide excellence customer service and communication.
- Stay current with overhead door & dock qualifications.
- Perform work assignments in compliance with OHSA regulations.
- Always adhering to company health and safety policies.
- Keep workplace clean, clear, and safe.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working condition and secure.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful:
- Minimum high school (or equivalent)
- Valid driver's license.
- Mechanically inclined (comfortable using power hand tools).
- Selfstarter, team player with positive attitude.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Comfortable working at heights (scissor lifts & ladders).
- Must be able to commit to a Monday to Friday work schedule.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay:
$19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
