Key Responsibilities:

Acquire goods and services needed to satisfy the manufacturing plan while keeping shortages and inventory as low as possible.
Reduce part cost while improving quality and delivery times.
Expedite goods delivery when necessary.
Negotiate while maintaining a positive relationship with vendors.
Qualify vendors and components.
Do Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
Find new and alternative suppliers for existing and new components.

Requirements and Skills:

University, College, or Technical Post-Secondary education.
1 to 3 years of purchasing goods experience.
Experience with AX or D365 systems is an asset.
Experience negotiating with suppliers.
Superior analytical skills and ability to develop recommendations and strategic solutions from data/information.
Well organized and able to balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
Need to have high sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing needs.
Fully bilingual in French and English.
