JOB OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure daily financial/nonfinancial requests and integrity reports are acted upon in a timely manner and with exceptional accuracy.
  • Duties may include: managing daily investment directions and investing high dollar values with the utmost accuracy in our highnet worth client portfolios; reconciling account and ACB values with custodial records, and setting up securities and transactions in our internal system where required; preparing tax packages for our high net worth corporate and trust accounts with exceptional accuracy and quality; processing financial trades and LOI/Corrections and coordinating money movement between internal and external parties.
  • Review all incoming requests and ensure all business and compliance procedures are adhered to.
  • Investigate accountrelated problems, analyze, make recommendations, and implement the bestpossible agreedupon solution for the client in a timely manner.
  • Handle escalated issues and ensure regular follow up and prompt resolution is achieved. Ensure proactive escalation of issues on matters requiring management's attention.
  • Support team with quality control efforts and assist in other Private Client desks or special projects throughout the year as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Postsecondary education in Business or a related discipline
  • Experience within the financial services industry in an administration/service role considered an asset
  • Mutual funds/securities knowledge and related industry courses (CSC IFIC Operations, etc.) is an asset
  • Working knowledge of daytoday operations/administration of client accounts, with strong analytical, problem solving and good arithmetic skills
  • Strong and accurate alphanumeric data entry skills and customer service mindset
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and deliver high quality work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
