Description
Responsibilities:
Network Support:
- Provide daytoday support for network infrastructure, assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Respond to enduser inquiries and concerns related to network connectivity.
Installation and Configuration:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software components.
- Work with senior technicians to deploy and integrate new networking solutions.
- Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Implement routine maintenance tasks to uphold network reliability and security.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with IT team members to address and resolve networkrelated issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of network processes.
User Training:
- Assist in providing basic training to endusers on networkrelated topics.
- Educate users on best practices for network usage and security.
Security:
- Implement and adhere to security measures to safeguard the network against unauthorized access and potential threats.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and assist in implementing security updates.
Upgrades and Expansion:
- Support the planning and implementation of network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Follow established procedures for change management.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in IT, networking, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and technologies.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications:
(e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Network support: 4 years (preferred)
- Computer networking: 4 years (preferred)
- Network protocols: 4 years (preferred)
- IP networking: 4 years (preferred)
- Computer hardware: 4 years (preferred)
- Computer repair: 4 years (preferred)
- Network installation: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CCNA (preferred)
- CompTIA Network+ (preferred)
