PLUMBING SHOWROOM SALES SPECIALIST

Plumbing Showroom Sales Specialist, you are the face of Best Plumbing & Lighting.
You are welcoming and enthusiastic, providing exceptional customer service
five days a week, between Monday and Saturday. You greet all your clients and educate them through the process of accessing and purchasing the right products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and retain strong relationships with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners.
- Assess customers' needs, directing their product selection and purchase.
- Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
- Handle special orders, requests, issues/concerns with enthusiasm and efficiency.
- Provide quotes for clients and follow ups.
- Examine and resolve customer issues, address short payments, and returns in a timely fashion.
- Continually improve product knowledge to show authority and trust within the industry.
- Maintain product literature to ensure most current information is available to customers
- Conduct after sales service with customers
- Work closely with others (clients, suppliers, coworkers) in a professional, cooperative, and positive manner.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- A strong sales presence
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Quick responsiveness and problemsolving skills
- Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Intermediate math skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Can work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Basics of design and interior decorating is an asset
- Drive showroom sales thru promotions and maintaining display materials
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets
- Must work Saturdays and have reliable transportation
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum Grade 12 education required
- Sales experience is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
