Overview:
The incumbent will support and execute the operational and tactical procurement of goods and services for the St-Eustache quarry and asphalt plant.
In coordinating the operational and tactical procurement of local goods and services, you will be responsible for contract implementation, category strategy execution, and communicating supplier performance through the procurement team.
Responsibilities:
Health and Safety:
- Ensure that all contracts and work sites meet the requirements of Lafarge's safety policy for employee safety.
Procurement Processes:
- Support and execute the procurement of goods and services in accordance with category strategies, as well as applicable policies, procedures, and specifications.
- Create local purchase orders for supplies, equipment and services within authorized signature limits with prequalified suppliers.
- Solicit quotes or generate RFQ's in accordance with procurement policy in collaboration with operations and other stakeholders.
- Drive the realization of savings, supply efficiency, quality, and process improvements in own country, in line with zone and global strategies.
- Support category projects and initiatives at the local level.
- Provide Category and Operational Management with information and support for the integration of local volumes, processes, quality levels and prices into strategy development
Payment Processes:
- Coordinate with the business and shared service center regarding resolution on P2P issues as they occur and perform root cause analysis to ensure that best practices are captured and shared amongst team.
- Coach Requisitioners on Buyways and P2P process to enhance their understanding of purchasing process and the use of SAP
Purchase Orders:
- Maintain the Integrity of spend classification and other PO requirements
Vendors:
- Assist with new vendor qualifications and onboarding as required
Relationships with other Jobs:
- Operational Staff & Management

- Purchase order create, followups and timely payment
Dimensions:
- Budget: $15 million
- Production: 2.3 M tons of aggregates, recycled material (200 k tons) and snow deposit (1 M m3 )

Qualifications:
**_
Education and Work Experience:
_**- Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree in a related field preferably in Business or Supply Chain.
- 2 to 3 years of related experience
_ Knowledge and Skills:
_
- Bilingual
- Experience in a previous procurement role (buyer, sourcing, operations) with exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
- SAP Materials Management Module experience
- Analytical Skill and power Microsoft Office and Power BI user
- Demonstrated performance in working within crossfunctional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
