Job description
Champ Metal Fabrication is looking to immediately add a highly dedicated and motivated individual to our shipping/receiving team. This is a full time, day shift opportunity, but should be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Duties Include:

- picking / counting parts with accuracy
- stocking parts
- operating mobile equipment
- reporting any discrepancies related to parts and products
- complete paperwork as required
- follow all safety and regulation standards

Requirements to Join the Team Include:

previous warehouse experience of 1-2 years

- strong shipping & order selecting background preferably in the metal industry
- ability to operate power equipment
- ability to read blue prints / drawings an asset

Class 3 license an asset

- no fear of heights
- attention to detail and accuracy
- good initiative
- organizational skills
- ability to manage changing tasks in a fast paced environment
- good communication skills written & oral
- good time management
- work independently
- great attendance

Individuals should be:

- physically fit, as heavy lifting up to 50lbs is required
- able to walk, stand, crouch, and bend for periods at a time
- ability to complete repetitive tasks
- able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- flexible to work overtime
- team orientated
- have own transportation - busing can be limited
