Responsible for troubleshooting escalated work and advanced technical requests/calls from Client Support Specialists or directly from hospital staff/physicians. They will also manage small projects related to their area of expertise.

Work is delegated on a daily operational basis to Client Support Specialists to manage either work queues or project-related tasks.

Regular Full Time

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Rate of pay:
$31.36 per hour - $39.20 per hour


Qualifications:


  • 3 year College Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Netwroking, or Comupter Technology
  • A+ Hardware Certificate, MCSE or CAN preferred
  • Minimum 3 years recent, related experience in a high volume computer support environment
  • Excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated problem resolution and troubleshooting skills and aptitude
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and family centred care principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:


  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
