Forklift Operator/material Handler - Gloucester, Canada - VESTA Marble and Granite
Description
What you will be doing:
- Work with Receiving Lead and Material Handling teams to identify upcoming jobs on the stone fabrication schedule
- Locate and label stone slabs to prepare for fabrication
- Organize and sort incoming deliveries of slabs by vendors
- Assist the Lead with transporting materials for pictures
- Store material based on slab size, thickness, color, and/or fragility
- Assist team members unloading shipping containers
- Assist with warehouse layout changes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift license is required
- Must have forklift experience (at least one year)
- Experience using counterbalance forklift is preferred
- Honesty
- Positive demeanor
- Goaloriented
- Ability to work with a team as one cohesive unit
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour
