Position Information:

Temporary position until approximately November 16, 2024.

Rotation/Shifts:

Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

What you will do:

The Supervisor, Care Environment will provide oversight in the delivery of safe, timely transportation service throughout the campus, the Transport supervisor will work in partnership with the training coordinator, safety office and other stakeholders to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and without error.

The supervisor will be an open communicator who follows up on service requests in a timely manner and who provides realistic timelines when communicating with our clients, setting clear, obtainable objectives for our staff.

The supervisor will help to complete audits designed to impart safe work practices, aligned with efficiency and customer service in an open and transparent manner with staff, incorporating metrics to help provide precise feedback.

The supervisor will balance compassion with accountability, setting a standard of excellence in which we can continue to deliver world class care to patients in our community.

What you will bring:

Successful completion of a College Diploma program or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Previous supervisory experience or two (2) years experience in a lead/senior role in a Logistical Services environment;
Knowledge of Infection Control and Health & Safety procedures;
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to set workload priorities;
Knowledge of collective agreements;
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle and ADS.

You will stand out with:

Community College Diploma in Business Administration or Materials Management;
Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
