Overview

$5,000 Signing Bonus
The Installation Technician will be primarily involved with the installation of Handicare products. Preventative maintenance and service work on installed equipment also to be completed on an as-needed basis. Work will be billable against a particular revenue-generating project whenever possible.


Essential Functions

  • Installation of Handicare overhead ceiling lift products by constructing metal framing and attaching to building structure in the acute (hospital), long term care facilities and home care.
  • Assist fellow installation team members to complete each job safely and on time.
  • Commitment to following proper OSHA/PPE requirements on job sites/construction sites, practicing safe working habits at all times.
  • Competency with various construction tools needed to complete a successful installation (hammer drill, chop saw, band saw, hand tools, tape measure, line lasers, etc.)
  • Ability to read dimensioned drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and scissors lifts for extended periods of time.
  • Work with hands above head for an extended period of time.
  • Lift an average of 50lbs regularly throughout the course of a day.
  • Accurate and regular expense reporting.
  • Daily communication with project manager to ensure on time/on budget project completion.
  • Ability to travel out of town up to 75% of the time.

Minimum Requirements

  • 35 years of construction experience, carpentry preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel out of town for extended periods at a time.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office.
  • Good background/driving record.

$25.00-$28.00 per hour
