We have an exciting opportunity for an adaptable, detail-oriented Proposal Manager who will play a crucial role in defining our future successes.


About the Role:


As a Proposal Manager, you will take the helm in developing proposal content strategy for Request for Qualifications (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).

You'll partner closely with various teams, including Bid Management, Business Developers, and Tender Leaders, to craft compelling proposal strategies and win themes.

We're looking for someone who has a deep understanding of our customers, is sensitive to the rail industry's unique challenges, and excels at project management.


Your role will be vital in representing the voice of the customer in our proposals, ensuring instructions are followed and requirements are met.

This is a pivotal role where your influence will be felt across the company and the transportation industry at large.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the bid team to deliver compliant, clear, and compelling proposals that reflect our capture plan and win themes.
  • Manage proposals in cooperation with the Proposal Coordinator.
  • Coordinate communication between the proposal content developers.
  • Lead color team (Pink/Red/Gold) reviews.
  • Report proposal progress to the bid team.
  • Complete the proposal closing process.
  • Collect lessons learned and identify proposal process improvement opportunities.
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or other relevant field.
  • Is bilingual in French / English.
  • Has 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Project Management, Engineering Marketing, and/or Proposals.
  • Has experience working in an international environment and with sensitive/confidential information.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excels in organizational and project management, stakeholder management, and change management.
  • Is detailoriented, adaptable, teamfocused, and demonstrates sound judgment and problemsolving skills.
  • Is located or willing to relocate to Montreal.
