About the Position

The primary responsibility of the Sales Analyst is to support the sales team by compiling and analyzing data related to pricing, trade spending, deductions, sales, and market-traded commodities.

The Sales Analyst should be able to work with customers on pricing, contract execution, general requests and dispute resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Duties

  • AR Short payment validations and reconciliation
  • Deductions tracking and reporting
  • Preparing and maintaining price files/schedules
  • Preparing and sending out daily, weekly pricing to select customers
  • Contract balances monitoring
  • Management of rebates/accruals, including payments
  • Master data management (SKUs and Customers)
  • Contract Entry as required
  • Completion of monthend reports as requested and other office responsibilities
  • Support office operations
Customer-Facing Duties

  • Support customers during sales manager or customer service absence
  • Maintaining various customer portals for price changes
  • Responding to customer requests such as price quotes, samples, market information and vendor forms
  • Assist in preparation of customer business reviews, trade show and marketing coordination
  • Customer incident resolution and general sales enquiries
  • May be assigned inside sales duties (customers' responsibility)

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding or the ability to learn about markettraded commodities such as wheat and corn
  • Knowledge or understanding of the baking industry
  • Demonstrate a high level of expertise in Excel, Word, and Salesforce

Education or Work Experience

  • Post-Secondary education in business, marketing
  • 35 years experience with Inside sales, sales administration, customer service, or sales analysis
