Neuroscience Research Assistant Internship

AAVAA is a deep technology start-up in Montreal with the goal to give people control of their auditory environment, enhance the sounds they want to hear, and suppress distracting noise.

We are looking for:

A full-time intern who will assist with various research and development activities including:

Recruiting and testing participants
Assisting in the preparation of experimental setups
Conducting literature reviews
EEG analysis, data cleaning, etc.
Analyzing and reporting scientific findings

Qualifications

PhD, Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, or related fields
Experience in facilitating experimental protocols with participants
Excellent communication & writing skills (English)
Ability to work independently
Experience with EEG analysis, data cleaning, etc.
Motivated, excited to learn, ability to work autonomously in a dynamic team

Experience with programming languages (Matlab, Python, etc.) and statistical software (R, SPSS, etc.) is an asset.
