Scope
The Logistics position is responsible for completing warehouse functions, including receiving, order filling, or shipping. Prioritizes daily workflow to ensure client needs are met. Manage inventory, stocking, cataloguing product, and maintaining accurate inventory records.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure inventory is received, catalogued, and orders are filled in a timely manner to maximize client service
  • Loading, unloading, and moving product and materials by hand or using equipment
  • Work closely with Programs Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to manage inventory, perform inventory quality checks, and record keeping
  • Conduct and report cycle counts. Update inventory counts in database and ensure accurate records of stock levels and inventory transactions.
  • Create and manage purchase orders to replenish inventory efficiently
  • Maintain bar code labels and bins in good condition
  • Ensure warehouse complies with all health & safety requirements and standards
  • Communicate with clients to address questions and concerns
  • Actively participate in professional development initiatives
  • Perform other operational duties assigned

Qualifications

  • A degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field or a combination of experience and education that fulfills the requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Second language is an asset
  • Experience with ERP software, barcode scanners, spreadsheet software for organizing and analyzing data
  • Knowledge and ability to operate warehouse equipment
  • Good understanding of all warehouse safety requirements
  • Valid G license is required, with access to a vehicle and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and move 3040 kgs
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules, including evenings/weekends/nights as needed
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, to develop and execute initiatives with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, crosscultural, written, and verbal communication skills

Other requirements

  • A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check (completed when an offer is made)
