Professor Kineslla Lab at the Bioengineering department is seeking a full time Lab Helper

Main tasks

Assist in project components aimed at optimizing decellularized extracellular matrix hydrogels.
Collect and enters data into established inventory databases and help in analyzing and interpreting data
Assist in designing experimental protocols and writing SOPs of the finished methods
Distribute and tracks items, such as laboratory shipments. A log to track these items may be required.
Catalog laboratory material and or equipment.
Support in report writing and preparation of presentations

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is an asset
Knowledge of supercritical carbon dioxide solvent instrumentation, plate reader, and mechanical testing equipment.
Experience in tissue decellularization, cellular assays, biochemical assays, design of experiments, data handling and analysis is a must

Full time: 40 h/week

Hourly rate: 16.5$
