Barkman Transport is looking for a full-time,
experienced Dispatcher to join our growing team.
The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring efficiency in the day-to
- day operations
Key Responsibilities include:
- Resolve issues in regards to home time, hours of service and OTD and prevent service failures**
- Communicate and confirm plans with drivers and the on going schedule
- Minimize driver complaints in regards to trips and weekly mileage target for the week
-Communicate with CSR's and dispatch team in regards to changes in plans and customer deliveries and pickups
- Communicate day to day activity, plans and unresolved customer or driver complaints with team
-2 years to cross border dispatch experience
-Good written and verbal skills
-Computer knowledge to work on Microsoft office and TMS system.
-Customer service skills and focus
-Problem solving skills
-Be organized and able to inform
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Puslinch, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- dispatching: 2 years (preferred)
