Description
We are seeking an exceptional Machine Learning Engineering Manager, to lead our talented team of Machine Learning Engineers and play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our product.
As an experienced leader, you will contribute hands-on with coding and modeling, as well as mentor, build, and guide your team to success.
Your strong practical experience will be critical as we aim to push the boundaries of technology and remain at the forefront of the rapidly evolving technological advancements in machine learning.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on victims' lives while working with a talented interdisciplinary team of passionate individuals - with backgrounds in industry and academic research in physics, ML, neuroscience, and more.
As a Machine Learning Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of our product and the technologies we work with.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and resources to support the technical and career development of team members.Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define the strategic direction of the product for the assigned squad.
Lead discussions to formulate data-driven strategies that support the team's goals and objectives.
Fine-tune LLM models to optimize performance and accuracy in specific contexts or domains.
Implement RAG status indicators and synthetic evaluation techniques to assess model effectiveness and refine strategies accordingly.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or other fields of advanced quantitative study; Strong proficiency with the latest Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.
~ High proficiency in a procedural programming language (e.g. Python).~ Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
~ Previous experience in the legal or healthcare is a plus, but not required.
