Job Description:


The Product Operations Manager is an individual contributor, reporting to the Director, Product Operations and has a wide range of responsibilities, all of which promote operational excellence within Assent's Product teams.

The Product Operations Manager will be a key member of the team, becoming a 'trusted advisor' to the Product organization and will act as a liaison between the team and Assent, driving cross-functional alignment, designing and implementing programs to scale efficiencies, improving collaboration and streamline communication.

This role will support cohesion and enable the Product teams to be more productive through the orchestration of people, processes, tools, and information while aligning efforts with Assent's broader objectives.


Additionally, the Product Operations Manager will require extensive collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders across Assent to design and implement programs to scale efficiencies and improve collaboration and communication.


The role will be responsible for one or more key domains including Product Enablement, Product Operational Excellence & Product Engagement & Collaboration.


The Product Operations team is quickly evolving and requires someone who can be flexible, learns quickly, leads by bringing structure to ambiguous situations, and gets buy-in from stakeholders.


Key Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements for the product delivery and launch processes across the product teams, customer teams, product marketing and other key stakeholder teams based on best practices and industry trends aligned to Product Operations objectives;
  • In consultation with Assent's Employee Experience and Learning & Development team, develop, coordinate and continuously evolve the Product's organizations' onboarding, learning and development initiatives;
  • Continuously improve and challenge existing ways of working, actively championing new ways of processes, tools, and ways of doing things that will drive the most value;
  • Partner with product leaders to understand product teams needs and design ways to drive operational excellence;
  • Engage with teams outside of Product such as Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Marketing and others to gather their requirements for Productowned systems, tools, and data;
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate the business needs of stakeholders to establish scope, success metrics and outcomes for the implementation of new processes, and programs;
  • Gather and analyze various data points to facilitate decisionmaking and help prioritize high impact and high value solutions to the Product organization;
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes that involve the Product team and develop strategies for future enhancements;
  • Develop standard templates to promote consistency and uniformity among the product team for recurring documentation requirements;
  • Implement change management best practices to ensure company wide understanding and adoption of product processes;
  • Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent Compliance.

Qualifications:

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications,

  • 5+ years of experience in similar role at a SaaS company;
  • University, College and/or Post Graduate Certificate in a related field;
  • PMP, Six Sigma or Certified Scrum Master specialized certificate would be highly valued;
  • Knowledge of Aha, JIRA, Pendo and other common Product and Office productivity tools;
