The Controller position is an important and exciting opportunity to run the Finance Team, who are a group of dedicated, quick and accountable individuals.

You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team in providing insightful, detailed financial and management reports.


Role of the Controller:

  • Improve financial reporting/process and procedures
  • Oversight of accurate financial results and preparation of financial forecasts to guide management and executive team decisionmaking
  • Lead and mentor the finance team

Controller responsibilities:

  • Assist with acquisition opportunities
  • Work closely and collaborate with the CEO on various business aspects
  • Manage the flow of finance work amongst the team
  • Be directly involved in the annual budget process
  • Oversight of monthend close and monthly financial statement preparation
  • Timely and consistent distribution of monthly financial statement information to key stakeholders
  • Enhance internal control and processes
  • Find automation solutions with accounts payable, expense reports and credit cards
  • Responsible for yearend reporting with external accountants
  • Responsible for all tax filings
  • Ability to implement and execute accounting software change
  • Oversee cash flow management

The role will require:

  • CA/CPA designation
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
