We are currently seeking a seasonal, fulltime

to join our team

Responsibilities

General laborer duties associated with all aspects of road construction including base and paving
Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines
Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, spotting, flagging and other traffic control devices.
Perform other duties as assigned
Work in a team environment to ensure that project timelines are met
Assist with other pavingrelated tasks as needed
Follow and adhere to all the Company's safety procedures and directives
Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner
Perform work in outdoor construction site settings
Act in a courteous manner in order to project a positive company image

Qualifications:

Experience and Competencies

Road construction experience is considered an asset
Previous experience working on asphalt and concrete paving projects
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain proper grades and slopes
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
Willingness to work flexible hours
Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
