Position:
Game Night Activation Assistant

Department:
Partnership Marketing

Reports to:
Manager, Partnership Marketing

***: The Game Night Activation Assistant will work during Canucks and Warriors home games at Rogers Arena to assist the Partnership Marketing team in executing sponsorship promotions. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

Assisting with various sponsorrelated promotions, including contacting and escorting contestants for promotions, taking photos of contestants, touring the arena, and assisting with promotion set up
Providing support in the office for the Partnership Marketing team by executing contests and managing contest winners
Assisting the tracking and effectiveness of all sponsorship elements including building set up and delivery, preparing reports for sponsors, etc.
Assisting with nongame day events like corporate partner skates, fantasy camps, and private practice viewings
Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 19 years of age
Must be currently enrolled in or have completed a postsecondary marketing program
Passion for marketing and sponsorship activations
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with sponsors and fans
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Knowledge of and passion for professional hockey is an asset
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
