Responsibilities

  • Day to day parts, part assembly, and part kit sourcing activities.
  • Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of industrial materials.
  • Internal and External Client communication.
  • Create and communicate procurement procedures and standards.
  • Create and maintain material management and tracking.
  • Maintain material certifications and records for all sourcing activities.
  • Maintaining schedule and milestones for procurement deliverables and update the material tracking reports.
  • Execute Procurement Cycle: vendor selection, prepare and issue request for quotations, vendor bid evaluations and selection, purchase orders, expediting, logistics.
  • Expediting supplier / contractors for materials and technical documentation
  • Run various expediting reports and analyze data with strong attention to details.
  • Coordinate inspections as required.
  • Assist with weekly reporting.
  • Orchestrate transportation and logistics.
  • Historical tracking and archiving of Labour/Equipment/Materials purchases for internal future project reference.
  • Ensure codes and standards (both legislated and customerspecific) are being met.
  • Other general project support tasks to complete work, including customer specific requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain experience.
  • Post Secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an asset.
  • Detailed knowledge of Suppliers, commercial Evaluations, Negotiations and Terms and Conditions of Purchase/Contract.
  • Detailed knowledge of expediting and logistics principles and best practices.
  • Subcontract Agreements and Framework Agreements.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
