What will you be doing in this role?


This role is primarily an office role with a heavy focus on quoting jobs, quality control, client interface, technician oversight, training and mentoring junior technicians.

There will be times where your expertise is required on a job and you will be required to attend complex service calls, or calls that facilitate training and or junior tech support.


What we want you to have experience with the following to ensure you are able to provide the technicians with the support they need, and speak to our services in detail when interfacing with clients;

  • Repair and replace relief valves on boilers, HWTs, storage tanks;
  • Troubleshooting and repair heating systems (pressure and temperature issues), highrise domestic water systems, and domestic water boiler;
  • Draining and charging expansion tanks (10% of system pressure);
  • Troubleshooting and repairing pumps for domestic water and closed loop systems (ie. changing couplers and amping pumps);
  • Highrise water and heating systems (ie. layout of systems including domestic and heating zones);
  • Troubleshooting and repairing 3" and 4" PRV in highrise buildings;
  • Diagnosing cross connections for both hot and cold systems;
  • Basic electrical knowledge / troubleshooting skills;
  • Reading and understand blueprints;
  • Troubleshooting of sump pumps experiencing issues (ie. amping pumps, variety of panel knowledge & troubleshoot, float setup);
  • Being the lead technician for shut down and completion of repairs in larger buildings (20+ storeys) with 4 pipe systems (heating and cooling);
  • Being the lead technician for boiler installs and retrofits (heating and domestic);
  • Repairing and replace of commercial storage tanks;
  • Basic knowledge on steam systems;
  • Accessing, comprehend and manipulate building automations systems;
  • Quoting labor and material for repairs;
  • Commissioning and start up of boilers;
  • Attending any plumbing call;
  • Quoting labor and material for repairs and boiler retrofits.
  • Drain cleaning/uncloggingusing K50,K60,K1500 and hydro jetters;
  • Camera scoping, and locating;
  • Hose bibb rebuilds, pulling and resetting toilets and tubs;
  • Soldering up to 2" and use of propress tools with XL jaws;
  • Basic water piping skills;
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and installation of toilets, kitchen sinks (including undermount) and drainage, faucets, shower cartridges, dishwashers, basic 40 gal HWTs gas and electric, commercial flush valves;
  • Ability to source and clamp water leaks;
  • Ability to replace smaller residential PRV's;
  • Roughingin a bathroom group with correct venting;

Your Qualifications, Experience, and Abilities

  • 8+ years experience ( condo highrise service experience a must)
  • 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to quote jobs accurately
  • Respond appropriately to customer concerns and create solutions
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Clean Driving Record
