STUDENT JOB - SUMMER 2023

Division:
CMH - Research

As a student for the CMH - Research, you will:

Provide support assisting with the creation of inventories for acquisitions in progress relating to the Pop Music Exhibition;
Create Excel inventories with physical description of objects and research notes;
Assist in object rotations for CMH;
Assist curators with collectionsresearch to create objects lists for future rotations.

What we are looking for:

Ongoing University Studies (undergraduate), in History, Anthropology, Art History, Folklore, Ethnomusicology, Indigenous & Canadian Studies;
Knowledge of material culture, Canadian history, Canadian culture;
Previous experience as a research assistant or previous work with museum or archives, an asset;
Knowledge in museology, an asset.

Eligibility criteria:

Must be a fulltime student at University;
Must be returning to fulltime studies next session
(a proof will be required);
Must be available to work in a hybrid work model;
Bilingualism is required;
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Compensation:
$16.99/hour to $25.52/hour - variation according to the student's level of education

Duration:
May 23, 2023 to August 18, 2023
