WHO WE ARE:

MacEwen is a growing family-owned company that has established itself as an industry leader.

We've been around for 48 years and we are still going strong We have openings for two Propane Delivery Drivers to serve our growing customer base.

This is a highly respected role in our company as we recognize our operations are great because of our professional drivers.

This full-time seasonal position until the end of April 2024, based out of our Belleville division will be working either Wednesday to Sunday, or Saturday to Wednesday each week.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

- $29.00 per hour to start.

Fully paid training.
Quarterly safety and yearly performance bonuses.
The pay rate is higher if you have at least 3 years of petroleum and/or propane delivery experience.
1.5 x overtime after 44 hours with a paidoncall rotation.
No charge for uniforms including winter jackets and rain suits.
3 weeks vacation pay.
Company benefit plan after 3 months.
Matching RRSP program from day one.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Ensure safe and timely delivery of propane to residential and commercial customers.
Be required to work regular day shifts, and be part of the paidoncall rotation, once trained.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
Share all pertinent information with dispatch including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Obey all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
Perform other duties as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Valid DZ license.
Minimum of 3 years of commercial DZ driving experience.
Clean driver's abstract and acceptable CVOR.
Mechanical inclination is desirable.
Ability and willingness to be crosstrained on tank installations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
Local geographical knowledge is required.
Positive attitude.
Excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrates a safetyfirst approach to the role.
