Specific Accountabilities:


  • Perform research in materials development, optimization, processing and analysis
  • Expertise in fiberglass and composite development and production
  • Development for manufacturing of alternate methods for production
  • Expertise in material forming and manufacturing plastic molds
  • Create Prototypes and Perform Experiments
  • Prepares scientific reports and presentation for Sponsor company
  • Develops purchasing documents and records project progress
  • Other duties as assigned

About the Position:

The position will include remote work and travel to St. Thomas Ontario which is the physical location of the project.


Qualifications:


  • Masters or PhD in applicable field from Accredited University
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, and materials laboratory equipment operation
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Welldeveloped analytical, problemsolving and evaluation skills required to troubleshoot, problem solve and provide analytical solutions to a wide variety of situations
  • Time management skills and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to be resourceful, selfdirected and an independent thinker
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • A collaborative team player who takes personal accountability to deliver on what is expected in your role and you strive for excellence every day
