We have an exciting role open as a Manager, Revenue Operations and Client Life Cycle in our Toronto office. Your focus will be managing the day-to-day Billing, Collections and Client Life Cycle teams across the offices. The position will oversee the operations of these areas, ensuring financial controls are designed and operating effectively.
This individual will own and lead continuous improvement efforts to core processes to increase the quality of output as well as improve the productivity of the finance operations team.
The position will build and maintain relationships with the business and ensure the team delivers high quality and timely service to the Firm.
The Manager, Revenue Operations and Client Life Cycle will report directly to the Director, National Finance Operations._ Please note that this role offers a hybrid work arrangement. Each week will combine both working from your home office and working from the McMillan office._
What You'll Do
As part of a national team, you will oversee a team of 25+ finance staff and seven direct reports. You will lead, guide, train and develop the teams. You will develop and implement finance functional dashboards to report monthly transaction volumes and related key performance indicators (KPI). Ensuring financial controls are designed appropriately and operating effectively will be key for this role.
As the manager, you will ensure all control processes, policies and procedures are properly documented and streamlined where necessary, including process improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will ensure compliance with ASPE, the partnership's accounting policies and provincial law society rules and requirements.
As the Manager, Revenue Operations & Client Life Cycle, you will liaise with the business, management and other members of the finance team to ensure business needs are addressed in a timely manner.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years experience in progressive finance roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or Commerce program
- Demonstrated proven experience leading a large team
- Prior experience in improving finance processes
- Excellent customer service skills, liaising with a variety of stakeholders, an ability to listen and to build confidence, interacting with people at all levels of the organizational with tact, diplomacy and in a professional manner
- Handson management style
- Results focused as well as process improvement focused
- Excelling organizational and project management skills to meet multiple deadlines and tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, strategic leadership, coaching, facilitation, and relationship management skills
- Develop, coach and motivate people and foster a positive work environment
- Prior experience with intApp Open or 3E is considered an asset
