**How your role will add to the story: Specialists are active during remediation of medium to high security events in our enterprise by leveraging a variety of tools and guiding analysts to deliver a secure environment. They also mentor analysts by exposing them to incidents that are more complex. Specialists are also key members of the global CyberDefense team by actively participating in larger projects such as Forensics, Malware Analysis, Threat Intelligence, Automation and SIEM development with the goal of supporting our global vision and mission.

**A day in the life

  • Monitoring and Responding to high severity security events as per established processes and standards
  • Directing local stakeholders and analysts during security incidents towards remediation
  • Fully enable the day to day operations of the Global CyberSecurity team with a focus on analysts
  • Challenge established processes and procedures in order to drive continuous innovation
  • Partially accountable for incident resolution and other findings
  • Serve as an escalation point for analysts
  • Supporting one of the global CyberDefense projects
  • Shape the direction of a project with new ideas and solutions
  • Attend conferences and trainings
  • Mentor teammates
Mercedes-Benz Canada requires all new employees to present proof they received full vaccination against COVID-19 when they begin work.

Qualifikationen:

**Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits: - Completed a post-secondary degree related to Cyber Security

  • GCIAH. GDAT, GCDA plus any SIEM specific accreditation
  • 2+ years working in a security operations centre or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of the Incident Response process and the MITRE Framework
  • Advanced investigative knowledge with a major SIEM solution (Elastic, Splunk, qRadar, etc)
  • Basic knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python, Powershell, Bash, etc
  • Knowledge of common malware behaviors such as obfuscation, evasion, persistence, C2 channels, etc
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of enterprise IT architectures
  • Bold, innovative and enjoy challenging yoursel
