Operational Excellence Manager - Calgary, Canada - Eaton
Description
Eaton's ESSG CA Canada division is currently seeking a Operational Excellence Manager. This role is based out of Burlington, ON.What you'll do:
- You will lead national projects using PROLaunch and utilize lean tools to drive cost out related to fabrication.
- You will serve as a role model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement, safety, and environmental stewardship to ensure alignment with Eaton leadership system.
- You will identify and eliminate process variations resulting in external and internal failures through 8D corrective action, Six Sigma, and other Quality Management System tools and processes.
- Responsible for supporting all sites on executing the identified Industry 4.0 projects assuring they have flawless launches, and all expected benefits are achieved (financials and nonfinancials)
- Supports RIE's and Kaizens to improve performances of the plants and integrate I 4.0 solutions to drive improvements
- Lead and mentor the manufacturing sites on world class manufacturing & productivity improvement
- Utilization of strong problemsolving tools to resolve existing manufacturing. challenges
- Develops and supports portfolio of improvement programs across Canadian manufacturing operations including materials, machines, tooling, and process controls
- You will liaise across operations and business units to ensure a systematic process is in place for full order cycle that maximizes customer experience.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- University Degree or College Diploma, in technical field.
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in manufacturing or engineering.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
- Green Belt Certification
- Certified LEAN Trainer
- Experience with ERP (Oracle or SAP)
- Experience with metal manufacturing, industrialization of new manufacturing processes
- Experience with CNC machine programming
