Thyssen Mining is a full-service underground mining contractor with several projects in Canada and the USA.

Thyssen Mining is looking for an energetic and detail oriented individual to join our Human Resources Department as a Human Resources Generalist for an anticipated 1-year term in our Sudbury, ON Office.

A Human Resources background that comprises both education and job experience;
5 years HR experience, 23 years of that being relevant HR Generalist experience. Experience in a mining or construction industry would be an asset.
An ability to work with a high degree of discretion and complete confidentiality;
Experience using HR management systems, specifically UKG would be an asset.
An ability to manage multiple priorities;
An ability to work with Microsoft 365 programs;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
Reliability, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently in a teamoriented environment are essential.
