What you will do


You lead a matrixed team of change management specialists supporting strategic change initiatives that are delivered by various business portfolios across ITS to ensure consistent approach in how the change is managed.

Your challenge is to grow and develop OCM practices and tools that best meet evolving business needs and ways of working in a fast-paced environment, and to enable knowledge sharing and alignment across resources and initiatives.

You assess organizational change management (OCM) resource requirements and support recruitment and onboarding activities.

Relationships at all levels are established to build knowledge and understanding of key stakeholder business needs, to ensure appropriate levels of engagement in change efforts and to provide effective strategic advice to change specialists and leaders.


What you need to succeed

You are a recognized change leader who motivates change specialists across the department to demonstrate collaboration, knowledge sharing and teamwork.

You empower others, providing guidance and coaching to support their development and the success of their change initiative.

You are a change contributor and problem solver who readily adapts to changing priorities and have a growth mindset with demonstrated ability to shift between different core skillsets.


Your leadership skills enable you to navigate through ambiguity and provide guidance to change management specialists and leaders at all levels of management.

You establish strong relationships across the organization and are called upon for your strategic advice.

You have experience in building and leading Communities of Practice (CoP's) to facilitate information sharing and leveraging of best practices, and in managing organizational and culture change.

You are an effective communicator and influencer, exchanging information, in verbal or written form, sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques.

Your education and experience

The position requires a bachelor's degree in organizational development, business administration, communications, human resources or another relation discipline, a minimum of 5 years of Change Management experience supporting complex cross-functional strategic initiatives and a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


What you need to know

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability or Secret

Hybrid Work Model #LI-Hybrid**The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will be expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person and to build connections with colleagues. For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
